Plus Venture Capital, commonly known as PlusVC, is an early-stage venture capital firm headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Established in 2021, the firm is dedicated to fostering the growth of innovative startups across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. PlusVC primarily focuses on companies in their Pre-Seed, Seed, and Pre-Series A stages, aiming to provide crucial capital and strategic support during their foundational years.

In July 2023, PlusVC successfully announced the final close of its inaugural fund, PlusVC Fund I, at $60 million. This significant capital pool is earmarked for investments in promising technology-driven ventures within the MENA ecosystem. The firm's investment strategy for this fund involves deploying capital into approximately 25 to 30 startups, with an average initial ticket size reported to be $1 million. This approach allows PlusVC to build a diversified portfolio while also reserving capital for follow-on investments in its most successful portfolio companies.

Under the leadership of Managing Partner Hasan Haider, PlusVC has quickly established itself as an active participant in the regional startup scene. As of its fund closing announcement, the firm had already made over 10 investments, demonstrating its commitment to identifying and backing high-potential founders. Notable companies within its early portfolio include Supy, a B2B ordering platform, and Palm, a fintech solution, among others.
